Seats.

Remove sill panel trim. Refer to => [ Sill Panel Trim ] See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Service and Repair/Removal and

Remove luggage compartment floor covering.

Remove 1/3 rear seat backrest. Refer to => [ Left 1/3 and Right 2/3 Backrest without Center Armrest Component Overview ] See: Body and
Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Rear Seats.

Remove 2/3 rear seat backrest. Refer to => [ Left 1/3 or Right 2/3 Backrest ] See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Rear Seats.

Disengage strap at rear lid bracket and remove rear shelf back out of mounts on luggage compartment side trim.

Remove rear cross panel trim: vehicles with front wheel drive. Refer to => [ Rear Cross Panel Trim Component Overview, FWD ] See: Body and
Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Trim, vehicles with all wheel drive => [ Rear Cross Panel Trim

Remove luggage compartment side trim. Refer to => [ Luggage Compartment Side Trim ] See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Service
and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Trim.

Remove rear outer floor assembly anchorage point. Refer to => [ Outer Rear Floor Assembly Anchorage Point ].

Remove the bolt - 2 -.

Disengage belt roller - 4 -.

Remove rear three-point seatbelt.
Installing
Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

Make sure the belt roller - 4 - fits correctly into the cut-out in the side panel bracket - 7 -.

Be careful to install the belt webbing - 3 - without twisting it.

If the belt roller was removed as the result of an accident, replace bolt - 2 -.

Ensure three-point seat belt is not obstructed by wires, insulation, etc.
