Transverse Link with Mounting Bracket, Manual Transmission

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Torque Wrench (V.A.G 1332)

‹› Locating Pins (T10096)

Removing

-

Remove wheel.

-

Remove lower noise insulation.

-

Remove left front level control system sensor coupling rod from the control arm, if applicable.

-

Remove nuts - arrows -.

-

Pull wheel bearing housing with ball joint out of transverse link. 

-

Locate the position for the mounting bracket.

-

Replace bolt - 1 - for left side, - 8 - for right side using locating pins (T10096) and tighten locating pins to 20 Nm.
