Trailing Arm: Removal and Replacement

Trailing Arm with Mounting Bracket

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Torque Wrench (VAG 1332)

‹› Wheel Hub Support (T10149)

Removing

-

Remove wheel.

-

Remove coil spring. Refer to => [ Coil Spring ] See: Suspension Spring ( Coil / Leaf )/Service and Repair/Rear Suspension/Coil Spring. 

-

Remove bolt - arrow - for parking brake cable -  1 - from trailing link - 2 -.

-

Remove coupling rod - 1 - from trailing link.

-

Remove bolts - Arrows -.

-

Mark installation position of mounting bracket on body.

-

Remove bolts - arrows -.
