Position engine support bridge (10-222 A) with adapters (10-222 A /3) on to bolted flanges of fender.
‹› The 2.0 Liter TDI engine is shown in the illustration.

Disconnect any hoses and cables in the area of the engine support bridge (10-222 A) lifting eyes on the engine.

Hook carabiner hooks of the spindles into the lifting eyes.

Pretension the engine/transmission assembly with the spindle, but do not lift.

Remove bolts - arrows - to loosen the transmission support from the transmission mount.
