Parking Assist Switch: Service and Repair

Park Assist Button, from 06.2008

Removing

-

Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

-

Remove the emergency warning switch (E3) => [ Emergency Flasher Switch, from 06.2008 ].

-

Remove the switch strip trim. 

-

Releases the retaining spring - arrows - and remove the switch mount - 1 -.

-

Disconnect the electrical connector - 3 -.

-

Press the park assist button (E266) -  item 1 - out of the switch mount - 2 - - arrow  -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

-

Press the warning lamp into the switch mount.

-

Install the switch trim. 

-

Install the emergency warning switch (E3) => [ Emergency Flasher Switch, from 06.2008 ].
