Release rear retaining clip - arrow - and remove module.

-

Disengage locks on electrical connections and disconnect electrical connections.

Installing

-

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

-

First engage top steering column trim into forward portion of bottom trim - arrow 1 - as illustrated.

Ensure locating tabs on lower trim engage in recess on upper trim - arrow 2 - as illustrated.

NOTE:  Shown in illustration with steering column trim removed.

Install airbag module and steering wheel.

Handle to steering column adjuster
lever - screw
