Inside Door Release Mechanism

Inside Door Release Mechanism

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Trim removal wedge (3409)

Removing

-

Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

-

Remove door trim. 

-

Remove armrest. 

-

Carefully loosen trim panel - 1 - from door trim -  arrow - with Trim Removal Wedge (3409). 

-

Disconnect electrical connector - 1 - on central locking switch.

-

Press central locking switch - 2 - out of inside door release mechanism - 3 -.

-

If present, disconnect electrical connector on door opener lighting bulb.

-

Remove bolts - arrows -.

-

Tilt inside door release mechanism out of door trim at rear side in upper area.
