Remove backrest cover with upholstery as far as possible.

Disconnect cable tie - 1 - for electrical connector - 2 - at bearing mount.

Remove backrest cover with upholstery.
Installing
Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:
‹› All cable ties should be re-installed in same positions.

Install headrest guide. Refer to => [ Headrest Guide ] See: Service and Repair/Overhaul/Front Seat Covers and Cushion.

Install seatbelt guide. Refer to => [ Seatbelt Guide ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Rear Seats.

Install latch trim. Refer to => [ Latch Trim ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Rear Seats.

Install 2/3 right backrest. Refer to => [ Left 1/3 or Right 2/3 Backrest ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Rear Seats.
