Installing

The surface of piston and seal must only be cleaned with mineral spirits and then dried.

-

Thinly coat piston and seal with lithium grease ( G 052 150 A2) before inserting.

-

Using trim removal wedge (3409), insert inner seal into groove in brake caliper.

Press in protective seal using special tool - 1 - and -  2 -.

-

Pos.- 1 - assembly tool for protective caps (T10146/2)

Pos.- 2 - piston resetting tool ( T10145)

Use protective backings

-

Press protective seal onto brake caliper housing so that it contacts the brake caliper housing all around - arrow -.
