Steering Angle Sensor

‹› The coil ring with slip ring and the housing of the Steering Angle Sensor (G85) is attached to the Steering Column Electronic Systems Control

Module (J527).

Removing

-

Remove airbag unit and steering wheel. => Body Interior

 69 Removal and Installation

-

Set wheels to straight ahead position.

Pos. - 1 - Coil ring with slip ring

-Clipped onto switch for turn signals, high/low beam headlights and light signal

Pos.- 1 - Steering Angle Sensor (G85)

-Clipped to coil ring with slip ring

CAUTION!
The coil ring with slip ring must not be turned when they have been removed.

Remove driver side storage tray: => Body Interior

Remove steering column switch module. => Electrical

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal, with special attention to the following:

Install airbag unit and steering wheel. => Body Interior
