Unclip electrical wiring bracket to oil level thermal sensor (G266) at subframe.

Lower engine at spindle approximately 60 mm.

Remove belt pulley while securing pulley with (V.A.G 1590 ).

‹› If engine is removed, belt pulley must not be removed. Coolant pump bolts are then accessible through belt pulley holes.
