Remove the trim - A - under the A/C control head Climatronic Control Module (J255) in the instrument panel and the radio - B -). =>
Communication

 91 Removal and Installation and=> Body Interior 68 Removal and Installation

-

Carefully lift connecting rib - A - to disengage lugs - B -.

-

Reach into center console from above (and below) and disengage A/C control head Climatronic Control Module (J255) -  C - from center console.

On vehicles with Radio-Navigation system or with a radio with large control panel
