Disconnect connectors - A - to - D - by pressing catches - E - and remove them.

‹› A/C control head Climatronic Control Module (J255 ) is secured in center console by 4 retaining clips - F - (2 each at top and bottom).

‹› If Instrument Panel Interior Temperature Sensor ( G56) sends incorrect measurements, check intake grille on panel of A/C control head

Climatronic Control Module (J255) (it must not be sealed) and function of Interior Temperature Sensor Fan (V42).

‹› When replacing an A/C control head Climatronic Control Module (J255), observe exact allocation (e.g. with or without controls for heated seats,

etc.).

Installing

To installed, perform the steps done during removal in reverse order. Note the following:

On the Audi A3 Cabrio, apply a felt strip on the A/C control head Climatronic Control Module (J255) - A - on the right and left side as illustrated -
B - (dimensions: 30 x 15 x 1 mm).
