Fuel Level Sensor

Removing

Observe safety precautions => [ Safety Precautions ] See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Service Precautions/Vehicle
Damage Warnings/Safety Precautions/Fuel Supply System.

Observe rules for cleanliness => [ Clean Working Conditions ] See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Service
Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Clean Working Conditions/Fuel Supply System.

Remove fuel delivery unit => [ Fuel Delivery Unit ] See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Pump/Service and
Repair/Fuel Delivery Unit.

Release retaining tabs - arrows - using a screwdriver and remove the fuel level sensor (G) upward and out.

CAUTION!
Before remove electrical connectors on Fuel Level Sensor (G), first release contact retaining tabs.

Disengage electrical connector retaining tabs - 1 to 3 - and disconnect them.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

Insert fuel level sensor (G) into guides on the fuel delivery unit and push up until it engages.
