Unclip suction jet pump from locking flange - arrows -. 

‹› When removing, be sure not to bend floater arm of Fuel Level Sensor 2 (G169).

Installing

‹› Tightening specifications => [ Fuel Delivery Unit and Fuel Level Sensor Assembly Overview ] See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and

Air Induction/Fuel Pump/Service and Repair/Fuel Delivery Unit and Fuel Level Sensor Assembly Overview.

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

‹› Replace seal.

‹› When inserting, be sure not to bend floater arm on fuel level sensor 2 (G169).

Carefully insert Fuel Level Sensor 2 (G169) - 2 - into fuel tank opening.

Clip suction jet pump - 1 - to the locking flange so that it is audibly engaged.

Install new locking flange seal dry.

Press locking flange down against spring pressure and bring it into installation position.

‹› Tab - 2 - on locking flange faces toward the arrow marking and must lie between tabs - 1 - and - 3 - on fuel tank.

‹› - Arrow - points in direction of travel.

Tighten locking ring.
