Insert the rain/light recognition sensor (G397 ) in the retaining plate and press it onto the windshield without forming bubbles.

‹› The rain/light recognition sensor (G397) must engage audibly in the retaining plate and have no embedded objects or bubbles between it and the

windshield to function properly.

Secure the rain/light recognition sensor (G397 ) to the retaining plate with the retaining spring.

Attach interior mirror offset at 30° from installation position.

Turn interior mirror clockwise until stop.

Code the new rain/light recognition sensor (G397 ).
