94 Bulb warning for daytime running lights in instrument cluster

Condition

-

Message concerning a light bulb is displayed in the driver information display. The message may be static or sporadic.

One of the following fault codes may be stored in the Vehicle Electrical System Control Module J519:

-

02745 Left Daytime Running Light Lamp -L174- Open/Short circuit to B+

-

02746 Right Daytime Running Light Lamp -L175- Open/Short circuit to B+

Production Solution

Improved light bulb holders.

Service

1. Check bulb fit in the bulb holder for loose contacts.

2. If the bulb holder has any discoloration, is malformed, or has loose contacts, replace the bulb holder as instructed below. Replacement of the
