Headlamp Bulb: Service and Repair
Low Beam Bulb

Halogen Headlamp, through 05.2008

Observe notes on contact corrosion => [ Contact Corrosion ] See: Service Precautions.

‹› After any measures that could affect headlamp aim, headlamps must be readjusted.

Low Beam Bulb

Removing

-

Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

-

Turn light switch into "0" position.

Preparations for working on headlamps => [ Preparing to Work on Headlamps ].

Release retainer tab - arrow - and remove the low beam housing cover from headlamp housing.

-

Turn bulb socket - 1 - counterclockwise -  arrow - and remove from headlamp housing.

-

Disconnect electrical harness connector - 2 - at bulb.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:
