Disconnect the 26-pin connector - 1 - and the 40-pin connector - 2 - on the engine compartment E-box.

Remove nuts - 1 - and - 2 -.

-

Remove the engine compartment E-box - 3 - upward. 

‹› The exact assignment of the engine compartment E-box can be found in the applicable wiring diagram.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

-

Install the fuse holder B (SB) => [ Relay and Fuse Holder B ] See: Relay and Fuse Holder B.

Vehicles with 4-Cylinder engine:

-

Install the battery tray => [ Battery Tray ] See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Battery Tray.

Vehicles with 6-Cylinder engine:

-

Connect battery. Required actions =>  See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Battery, Luggage
Compartment, Disconnecting and Connecting.

Install the air filter housing: See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Intake Manifold
