6-Pin Relay Carrier under Engine Compartment E-Box, through 05.2008

Removing

-

Remove the air filter housing: See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Intake Manifold

Vehicles with 4-Cylinder engine:

-

Remove the battery tray => [ Battery Tray ] See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Battery Tray.

Vehicles with 6-Cylinder engine:

-

With ignition switched off, disconnect battery Ground (GND) wire => [ Battery, Luggage Compartment, Disconnecting and Connecting ] See:
Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Battery, Luggage Compartment, Disconnecting and Connecting.

Vehicles with old version relay carrier:

-

Remove the 6-pin relay carrier under the engine compartment E-box -  arrow -.

-

Remove the 6-pin relay carrier cover - arrows -. 

-

Release the retaining clips - arrows -.
