Electronic Throttle Control Module: Programming and Relearning

Kick-Down Function, Programming, Automatic Or DSG Transmission

NOTE:  If the accelerator pedal module or engine control module is replaced in vehicles with an automatic or DSG transmission, the kick-down function
must be adapted.

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Vehicle diagnostic, testing, and information system VAS 5051B

Procedure

-

Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051B connected to Data Link Connector (DLC) - arrow -.

-

No faults in DTC memory.

-

Engine not running, ignition switched on.

Display on VAS 5051B :

-

Tap Vehicle Self Diagnosis button - 1 - in selection.

Display on VAS 5051B :

-

Select "Engine electronics" vehicle system in selection - 1 - and continue by pressing arrowright button.
