Fuel Level Sensor, through 11.04

Removing

Observe safety precautions => [ Safety Precautions ] See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Safety
Precautions/Fuel Supply System.

Observe rules for cleanliness => [ Clean Working Conditions ] See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage
Warnings/Clean Working Conditions/Fuel Supply System.

Remove fuel delivery unit => [ Fuel Delivery Unit ] See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Pump/Service and Repair/Fuel Delivery Unit.

CAUTION!
Before remove electrical connectors on Fuel Level Sensor (G), first release contact retaining tabs.

Disengage electrical connectors - 1 - and -  2 - and disconnect them.

-

Pry on retaining tabs - 3 - and - 4 - with a screwdriver and pull fuel level sensor (G) off downward - arrow -.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

Insert fuel level sensor (G) into guides on the fuel delivery unit and push up until it engages.

-

Connect electrical connections and check that they are securely engaged.

Install fuel delivery unit => [ Installing ] See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Pump/Service and Repair/Fuel Delivery Unit, observing notes
for connecting battery.
