Oil pressure gauge V.A.G. 1342
^
Adapter V.A.G. 1342/14
^
Voltage tester V.A.G. 1527.
^
Connector test kit V.A.G. 1594 C or V.A.G. 1594.
^
Locking Pin T10060.
^
Assembly tool T10118
Procedure
^
Oil level OK
^
Engine oil temperature approximately 80° C.
^
"OK" display must light up in Driver Information Display (DIS).
Note: Identify direction of ribbed belt travel with chalk or felt-tip pen. A reversed direction of rotation can cause damage to the belt under operating
conditions.

Swing tensioning device in direction of -arrow- to relieve tension on the ribbed belt and then lock it in place using Locking Pin T10060 A.

Disconnect secondary air hose at position indicated by -arrow-.

Free up air hose to Secondary Air Injection (AIR) pump.

Remove center noise insulation fasteners -1 to 3-.
