Parking Assist Control Module

Component location: in the back of the luggage compartment on the right side under the side trim.

Removing

-

If the control module was replaced, select the "Replace" function for the respective control module in "Guided Fault Finding" or "Guided
Functions".

-

Select the function or path:

-

Follow further instructions on display of VAS 5051B .

-

Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

-

Remove luggage compartment right side trim.

-

If equipped, disconnect the connectors - 2 - and - 3 -.

-

Release clip - arrow - and pull Towing Recognition Control Module J345 - item 1 - out of mounting frame.

-

Disconnect electrical connectors - 2 - and - 3 -.

-

Release clip - arrow - and pull park assist control module J446 - item 1 - out of mounting frame.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

If the park assist control module J446 was replaced, then it must be re-coded .
