Connect replacement airbag wiring harness connector with airbag module.

Ground Connection On Airbag Module (Series Production Wiring Harness)

Carefully disconnect wire.

Airbag Module Connector (Replacement Airbag Wiring Harness)

Ground Connection On Airbag Module (Replacement Airbag Wiring harness)

Tighten ground wire - 9 - on bolt - 5 - to 10 Nm.

Connectors

Secure connectors to seat frame with cable ties.

‹› Further installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION!
‹› Follow the safety precautions for pyrotechnic components.

‹› Before handling pyrotechnic components (e.g. disconnecting the electrical connector), the person handling it must "discharge static

electricity ". This can be done by touching door striker, for example.

‹› All terms such as upper (above), lower (below), etc. are always described in relation to the installation position of the seat in direction of travel.
