Disconnect the electrical connector - 2 -.

-

Release retaining clips - arrows - using small screwdriver and remove Rain/Light Recognition Sensor (G397) -  item 1 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

-

Clean the rest of the sensor film off the windshield.

-

Clean the contact surface on the windshield with cleaning solution (D 009 401 04).

-

Press the grip surfaces - arrows - on the protective cap - 2 - together and remove it from the rain/light recognition sensor (G397) - item 1 -.

-

Spray the entire surface of the sensor film - 1 - with cleaning solution (D 009 401 04).
