Left Engine Compartment E-Box, Through 05.2008

Observe notes on contact corrosion.

Removing

-

Remove the air filter housing: gasoline engine.

Vehicles with 4-Cylinder engine:

-

Remove the battery tray.

Vehicles with 6-Cylinder engine:

-

With ignition switched off, disconnect battery Ground (GND) wire .

All Vehicles

-

Remove the 6-pin relay carrier under the engine compartment E-box - arrow -.

Vehicles with the old version E-box:

-

Press the retaining clips in - direction of arrow - and remove the E-box cover.

Vehicles with the new version E-box:

-

Slide both latches in - direction of arrow - and remove the E-box cover.
