Vehicle Electrical System Control Module

Removing

Observe notes on contact corrosion => [ Contact Corrosion ] See: Wiring Harness/Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings.

If the control module was replaced, select the "Replace" function for the respective control module in "Guided Fault Finding" or " Guided
Functions".

Select the function or path:

-

Follow further instructions on display of (VAS 5051B).

Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

-

Remove driver storage compartment.

-

Release retaining springs - arrows - and remove Vehicle Electrical System Control Module (J519) -  item 1 - down from base mount - 2 -.

Press the connector clips - 1 - and - 2 - in -  direction of arrow -.
