‹› Always follow the order of the following work steps.

-

Install trailing link and mounting bracket with bolts -  arrows - on wheel bearing housing but do not yet tighten.

Insert coupling rod - 1 - in trailing link, do not tighten nut yet.

Lift suspension using engine/transmission jack ( VAG 1383 A) and wheel hub support (T10149) until mounting bracket makes contact with body.

-

Tighten bolts - arrows - on old impression.

-

Lower suspension back using engine/transmission jack (VAG 1383 A) and remove wheel hub support ( T10149) from wheel hub.
