Right Rear ABS Wheel Speed Sensor (G44)/Left Rear ABS Wheel Speed Sensor (G46)

‹› Can be checked in Guided Fault Finding using the 

‹› Before inserting sensor, clean inner surface of mounting hole and coat with polycarbamide grease (G 000 650)

Wheel Bearing Housing

‹› Different versions: Aluminum and steel

Bonded Rubber Bushing

‹› Installed only on vehicles with aluminum wheel bearing housing

‹› 45 Nm

‹› Always replace after removal

‹› Always replace after removal

‹› Pressing off and driving in, refer to => [ Wheel Bearing Unit ] See: Wheel Bearing Unit

An appropriate seal can only be achieved with a new dust cap.

‹› Always replace after removal

‹› Tightening specification for vehicles with aluminum wheel bearing housings: 200 Nm plus an additional 180° turn. Allocation

‹› Tightening specification for vehicles with steel wheel bearing housings: 180 Nm plus an additional 180° turn.

‹› Clean the threads in the stub axle with a tap before installing. 

‹› Loosening and tightening with XZN 18 socket (T10162 ), refer to => [ Drive Axle Hex Combination Bolt, Loosening and Tightening ] See:

Wheel Hub with Wheel Bearing

‹› Sensor ring for ABS is installed in wheel hub

The wheel bearing and wheel hub are installed together in a housing.
