Oil Pan

Oil Pan - 6 Spd. Direct Shift A/T 02E All Wheel Drive

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Used oil collection and extraction device V.A.G 1782

Removing

CAUTION
Do not run engine with the oil pan removed or without transmission oil filling and do not tow vehicle.

General repair notes.

Observe notes for direct shift transmission 02E.

Coat O-rings and seals with transmission fluid. Other lubricating substances lead to functional problems in the hydraulic transmission control.

CAUTION
Follow the steps for disconnecting the battery.

With ignition switched off, disconnect battery Ground (GND) cable -arrow-.

Drain transmission fluid.

-

Remove nut -1- and press bracket -A- upward.

Location: Bracket -A- is secured at front of transmission fluid pan.
