‹› Align panel and press it into roof cutout to stop.

‹› Secure panel in roof cutout with adhesive tape.

‹› Moving panel, can be removed without destroying it.

‹› Bonded to roof module.

CAUTION!
Cover neighboring paint surfaces with fabric-reinforced adhesive tape to protect against damage.

‹› Cut through adhesive along side wall frames using electric cutter (V.A.G 1561A) and cutting blade (L-shaped, 25.4 mm) (V.A.G 1561/22).

‹› Cut through adhesive bead on rear edge of panel 2.

‹› Cut through adhesive bead on forward edge of panel 3 using electric cutter (V.A.G 1561A) and cutting blade (58 mm) (V.A.G 1561/2).

‹› Lift panel out of roof cutout using a suction lifter.

‹› When installing, panel 2 must be installed and closed.

‹› Clean new panel in adhesion area and prime.

‹› Apply adhesive onto residual adhesive bead.

‹› Insert panel into roof cutout.

‹› Align panel and press it into roof cutout to stop.

‹› Secure panel in roof cutout with adhesive tape.

‹› Cut back only just before installing a new panel.

‹› Apply adhesive onto residual adhesive bead on body.
