Cruise Control Switch: Service and Repair

Steering Column Switch Module

General Information

The steering column switch module consists of coil connector with slip ring, Steering Angle Sensor (G85), steering column switch (lever switches for
the windshield wiper, turn signal indicator/light switch, cruise control switch), Steering Column Electronic Systems Control Module (J527) and
ignition switch.

Check Steering Column Electronic Systems Control Module (J527).

Turn Signal Switch and Cruise Control Switch

Removing

-

Remove Steering Angle Sensor (G85) => [ Steering Angle Sensor ].

‹› The following work procedures are shown with the steering column switch module removed.

Release retaining clips with 1.0 mm feeler gauge - item 1  - - arrows - and remove left lever switch.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

-

Make sure all fasteners and electrical connectors are properly engaged.
