Then select "recirculating air mode" function on A/C control head Climatronic Control Module (J255)

Recirculation Door Motor (V113) opens door - E - and Air Flow door Motor (V71) sets air flow door - A - into position "air intake opening for
recirculating air mode open".

Wait until both motors have reached their end positions.

Select "fresh air mode" function e.g. via operating mode "Defrost" (controls motors are always set to "fresh air mode" position in this operating
mode).

Air Flow Door Motor (V71) sets air flow door - A - into position "air intake opening for recirculating air mode closed", Recirculation Door Motor
(V113 ) sets door - E - into a position specified by A/C control head Climatronic Control Module (J255). 

Wait until both motors have reached their end positions.

Install the remaining removed parts again in reverse order.

‹› Position of air flow door - A - is visible via air intake opening in plenum chamber (remove plenum chamber cover) with recirculating air door - E -

closed.

‹› For air flow regulation, fresh air intake channel is closed partially via air flow door - A - at high vehicle speed (from approximately 80 km/h) by

A/C control head Climatronic Control Module ( J255) (position of recirculating air door - E - is specified by A/C control head Climatronic Control
Module ( J255)).
