Remove bolt - 4 - and remove vacuum reservoir -  1 - from intake manifold.

Lay vacuum reservoir aside with lines connected.

-

Disconnect electrical connector - 3 - at after-run coolant pump (V51) - 2 -.

Remove pump downward from rubber bracket loops. Spray rubber loops with silicone-free lubricant if necessary.

Remove after-run coolant pump (V51) bracket. 

-

Unclip the wire harness retainer on the right from the coolant pipe. 

-

Remove the wire harness on the left from the retainer on the coolant pipe.

-

Remove coolant hose to oil cooler at coolant pipe.

-

Remove coolant pipe from cylinder block.

Installing

Installation is in the reverse order of removal, note the following: 

‹› Replace O-rings.

Clean and/or smooth O-ring sealing surface in cylinder block before installing.

Coat new O-ring - 1 - with G12+ and slide onto coolant pipe - 2 -.
