Fresh Air Blower Control Module and Fresh Air Blower

Removing

-

Remove the glove compartment. Refer to => See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Utility Storage Compartment/Service and
Repair/Storage Compartments and Covers/Glove Compartment.

Remove screw clips - A - (different versions -  C - and - D -) and remove insulation mat -  B -.

-

Remove bolt - A - (if present).

-

If necessary, remove cable ties which bind wiring harness to fresh air blower housing - C -

-

Disengage locking mechanism - B - and rotate fresh air blower housing - C - in direction of arrow.

‹› Connection between fresh air blower housing - C - and A/C unit may be sealed with sealing compound, in this case a great use of force is required

for rotating.

‹› Fresh Air Blower Control Module (J126) and Fresh Air Blower (V2) are installed in housing -  C -. On the version that was installed up to model

year 2007, both components were cast with each other and thus cannot be replaced separately
