Ultrasonic Sensor: Service and Repair

Interior Monitoring Sensor

Component location: The Interior Monitoring Sensor (G273) is located in front interior/reading lamp.

Removing

-

Remove front interior/reading lamp => [ Front Interior Lamp/Reading Lamp ] See: Lighting and Horns/Courtesy Lamp/Service and Repair/Roof
Trim Lamps and Switches. 

-

Release retaining clips - arrows - and remove interior monitoring sensor (G273) - item 1  - and - item 2 - from interior/reading lamp.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

Connect electrical connector.

Install front interior/reading lamp => [ Front Interior Lamp/Reading Lamp ] See: Lighting and Horns/Courtesy Lamp/Service and Repair/Roof
Trim Lamps and Switches.
