Condition

The headlight washer system does not function when tested during the pre-delivery inspection.

Technical Background

The headlight washer system circuit fuse, 30 ampere, has been removed by the factory. This is done for transport protection.

For TT models, the fuse has been placed in the spare fuse position number 1 of the fuse panel located in the engine compartment (ST1).

For A3 models, the fuse has been placed in the spare fuse position number 4 of the fuse panel located under the left side instrument panel (SC).

Production Solution

No change.

Service

Install the fuse during the pre-delivery inspection. Please refer to the fuse panel cover for correct fuse location.
