Rear Window Spray Nozzle, Adjusting

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Windshield washer aiming tool (T10127) fitted with replacement tip (3125/5 A)

Procedure

-

Adjust nozzles using Windshield Washer Aiming Tool (T10127) so that the water jets are sprayed onto the rear window above the wipers at the
points shown.

‹› Dimension - a - = approximately 125 mm.

‹› Dimension - b - = approximately 295 mm.

‹› Dimension - c - = approximately 5 mm.

If the spray field does not correspond to the specifications, clean dirty spray jet.

Cleaning the nozzle:

-

Remove nozzle => [ Rear Window Spray Nozzle ] See: Service and Repair/Rear Window Spray Nozzle.

-

Flush nozzle opposite to spray direction using clear water.

-

To remove remaining impurities, the nozzle must only be blown out opposite to spray direction using compressed air.

-

If the spray field still does not correspond to the specifications, replace the spray jet.
