Remove the diagnostic cable from the diagnostic connection.

If after the test the system is not OK, read out the fault memory and rectify the fault (ignition OFF).

Afterward perform the short trip again.

Performing final control diagnosis

Connect the scan tool and select the engine electronics function.

Press -key.

Indicated on display (function selection):

Press keys O and 3 for "Final control diagnosis" and confirm the entry with the Q key.

Press the Key until the following text appears:

Confirm the entry with the Q key.

The electric vacuum pump should now run for approximately 10 sec.

Remove the diagnostic cable from the diagnostic connection.
