Display field -1- indicates "Channel 8 save".

In area -2- appears the newly adjusted value for the maximum fresh air blower speed during telephone operation.

In area -3- appears the original and new adjusted value for maximum fresh air blower speed during telephone operation

Accept and save input by touching button -5-.

Display field -1- indicates "Channel 8 save, value 0 - XXXX saved".

NOTE:

-

If a characteristic number has been entered that corresponds to a maximum fresh air blower speed of smaller than 15% or greater than 88%, the
characteristic number will be displayed but will not be implemented.

-

If a characteristic number of approx. "32600" is entered, the characteristic number is not considered by A/C control head -E87- and 15% will be
saved.

By clicking the <- button you will return to the selection menu.

-

Check speech recognition with the newly entered decreased fresh air blower speed.
-

End On Board Diagnostic (OBD) and switch ignition off.  See: Testing and Inspection/Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes/End
Output (Function 06)

Check speech input and speech recognition of telephone as follows

-

Start engine.

-

Select on A/C control head -E87- the function "Maximum fresh air blower speed" and "Air distribution to dash panel vents" or "Defrost" function.

-

Open all dash panel vents

-

Check function of speech input and speech recognition of the telephone with this adjustment.
