MIL on, engine speed sensor spacer not required (DTC P0300, P0335, P0336, P0321, P0322)
Condition

Multiple misfires detected on one or more cylinders.

Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) may be on or flashing.

May be accompanied by one or more of the following DTCs:

DTC P0300...P0306 (Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected).
^
DTC P0335 (Crankshaft Position Sensor A (G28) - Circuit Malfunction).
^
DTC P0336 (Crankshaft Position Sensor A (G28) - Circuit Range/Performance).
^
DTC P0321 (Ignition/Distributor Eng.Speed Inp.Circ. - Range/Performance).
^
DTC P0322 (Ignition/Distributor Eng.Speed Inp.Circ - No Signal).
Technical Background
Condition may be caused by a spacer (Figure 1, 3) installed between the engine speed (RPM) sensor (G28) (Figure 1, 1) and the gearbox (Figure 1, 2).
