Test requirements:

-

Fuse for valve for camshaft adjustment OK.

-

Motronic Engine Control Module (ECM) Power Supply Relay -J271- OK.  See: Testing and Inspection/Component Tests and General
Diagnostics/Motronic (ECM) Power Supply Relay -J271- and Activation, Check

-

Ignition switched off.

NOTE:  Voltage for camshaft adjustment solenoid valves is supplied via Motronic ECM power supply relay.

Procedure

Cylinder bank 2 (left):
