Obtain the owner's written consent (Refer to Control Module Tuning form shown) for any requested repair under warranty or outside warranty that
requires flashing, which will automatically overwrite the "Tuned" program.

Flash the TCM with the update CD - Part Number: 8N0-906-961.

Before flash update, delete the fault memory in the transmission control module. Flash update isn't possible when an EEPROM fault is active.

After inserting the Flash CD in the VAS 5051 and accessing the transmission control unit the programming starts by pressing the Update button.

If the update button doesn't appear, the latest version has already been installed.
