Rear LATCH "Lower Anchor and Tethers for CHildren" Bracket, Removing And Installing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Torque wrench V.A.G 1331

LATCH "Lower Anchor and Tethers for CHildren" bracket

-

Removal:
-

Remove rear seat bench: Vehicles through 10.04, vehicles from 11.04.

-

Remove bolts - 2 - (Qty. 2).

-

Installing:
Installation is reverse of removal. Observe the following when doing so:

-

When installing fixed rear seat backrest, slide securing tabs behind the LATCH "Lower Anchor and Tethers for CHildren" bracket - 1 -.

-

On some vehicles, when installing LATCH "Lower Anchor and Tethers for CHildren" bracket later, the securing tabs must be pressed flat
