Seat Belt Tensioner: Locations
Non-Adjustable Backrest

Third Rear Center Three-point Seat Belt (Non-adjustable Backrest), Assembly Overview

Removal
-

Remove rear seat

-

Remove rear backrest

-

Remove bolt -2-.

-

Unclip belt guide cover -8-.

-

Remove hat shelf if a solid rear backrest is installed.

-

To disconnect harness connector -9-, open fuse using a screwdriver (USA).

-

Remove bolt -5- (1x).

-

Remove belt tensioner -1-.

-

Installing
-

Thread in bolt -5- 1 to 2 turns for the uninstalled belt tensioner.

-

Insert belt tensioner -1- with bolt -5- into mounts and press belt tensioner -1-completely forward.

-

Tighten bolt -5-.

-

Tighten bolt -2-.

-

Guide belt webbing -10- in the lock trim -3- without turning.

-

Guide belt webbing -10- around lock trim -3- in direction of arrow -A- and thread in direction of arrow -B-.

-

Ensure that connector -9- (USA) engages properly.

-

Clip in ignition wire for belt tensioner fully extended in retaining tab -6-.

-

Clip in belt guide -8- into rear shelf -7-.

-

For vehicles with belt tensioner, check belt stretching sensor

Bolt

Tightening torque: 55 Nm

with seal

-

Always change gasket -4-.
