Explanatory notes on PR numbers
The suspension version installed in the vehicle can be seen from the corresponding PR number on the vehicle data sticker.

Example of a vehicle data sticker
In this example, the vehicle is equipped with standard suspension 1 BA -arrow-.
The vehicle data sticker can be found in the spare wheel well and in the customer's service schedule.
1 BA = Standard suspension
1 BE, 1 BV = Sports suspension (20 mm lower than 1 BA)
1BR = Comfort (rough road) suspension (13 mm higher then 1BA)

Sensors properly attached and adjusted; heed manufacturer's operating instructions

Tread depth on one axle must not differ by more than 2 mm

Specified tire inflation pressure

When performing wheel alignment, make sure neither sliding base nor turntable is on end stop

Curb weight of vehicle 1)

1) Curb weight signifies: The weight of the vehicle ready for operation (full fuel tank, spare wheel, vehicle tool kit, jack).

Vehicle properly aligned, bounced several times and allowed to settle

Check suspension, steering and steering linkage for impermissible play and damage

Perform wheel runout compensation.

The permissible lateral runout of the rims may already cause the toe-in tolerance to be exceeded. The toe-in can then not be set correctly without
performing wheel runout compensation.
