Vehicle Will Not Move In Any Gear 

Condition

Vehicle will not move in any gear.

Technical Background

ATF pump border bushing may fail and cause a loss of oil pressure. The ATF pump is incorporated in the valve body. The pump is not a serviceable
part.

Production Solution

Improved ATF pump incorporated in the valve body from January 2004 vehicle production.

Service

It is not necessary to receive an authorization number from the Technical Assistance Center for the repair described in this bulletin.

Attach VAS scan tool printouts to the repair order. Warranty requested documents received without VAS scan tool printouts will be denied
payment.

1.

Run the engine at Idle. Set the parking brake and place the transmission selector lever in drive (D). Do not press the brake pedal once drive is
engaged. Read and print MVB Group 15. If display field 3 reads 0 (zero) or the difference between MVB 15/3 (Actual pressure) and 15/4
(Nominal pressure) is greater than 2 bar, proceed to line 3.

If the difference between MVB 15/3 and 15/4 is less than 2 bar, contact the Technical Assistance Center for repair authorization.
