Insert special tool T40031 through access bore in shift mechanism to engage clamping screw at rear of selector lever cable. Loosen screw
approximately 1 turn.

Note:

Loosen clamping screw approximately I turn only - do NOT remove completely.

Clamping screw can only be accessed with selector lever in position 'D "

With clamping screw loosened, selector lever must remain in position 'D "

Check that selector lever is set accurately in position 'D". To do so, push selector lever slightly toward driver's seat (arrow -A-).

Note:  Do NOT pull selector lever back or forward while adjusting as this would distort the alignment

Using special tool T40031, tighten clamping screw in this position to 13 Nm.

Install shift mechanism cover

-

Install exhaust system and align it to be free of stress
