Remove nuts (arrows).

Note:  Assistance of a second technician is required for removing the shift mechanism from underneath the car.

Push retaining clips -1- and -2- in while pushing shift mechanism downward.

Installing 

Install in reverse sequence, note the following points
-

Install selector cable.

-

Install locking cable.

-

Adjust locking cable.

Install exhaust system and align it to be free of stress:  

-

Check shift mechanism.
